Welcome to Feelin' Phelan
Well I've been playing around with this idea of 'blogging' for a while now and really don't know where or how to begin, so please bare with me as i get the hang of this 'blogging world' and find my feet and bearings.
So here we are 3 days into July and still waiting for a good dose of Summer to arrive, today my Birthday has been a dreary and cold day, although the sun made a brief appearance and the kids still got a little bit of outside time to burn off some of that crazy monkey business they call energy.
But backing up a bit to the start of Summer, on Friday the 22 Brayden had his graduation from pre-school kinda cheesy and emotional at the same time, on the last day they got to wear construction paper caps and recieve their 'diploma'. For professional pictures they did the whole cap and gown thing not what i would have liked but he sure looks handsome.
Then that weekend we attempted our first camping trip as a family of four. We camped about two years ago when Brayden wasn't quite 3 and i was about 7 months pregnant.(now that would have been a trip to blog about) Totally last minute and totally unprepared so needless to say i was a bit leary this time around, but we kept it low key and simple and didn't turn out to be all that bad and the Boys really enjoyed themselves. (all 3 of them) By the way does anyone use tents anymore? I felt so out dated in our campsite i wondered if tents even exsisted anymore to campers, according to some of my facebook friends they use tents...but i've yet to see them *insert wondering eyes*
On Sunday we spent an hour or so checking out the Canada Day festivities here in Surrey, we got all decked out in our red and white and strutted our stuff then returned home for dinner and bed. We managed to watch the fireworks from the comfort of our own warm home thru the bedroom window...good view too!
